
About Me
Hi, I am Colin Pope. I reside in the backwoods of Vermont where I am a running coach. I'm a lover of all things movement & I especially love running on trails in the Green & White Mountains & riding my bike throughout the Northeast's endless dirt roads. Occasionally, I bring my camera to try & capture the endless beauty. My experiences have provided me with a unique skill set & approach to life. I know what it's like to experience success & failure. To lose everything & go through tragedy. To break & rebuild. To pivot & reframe yet through it all, keep moving. I am hardworking & have captained both high school & collegiate sports teams as well as coached high school basketball & soccer. I have led businesses through tumult & uncertainty with success, worked as a wilderness guide in Central America & as a Spanish translator for USHS in Puerto Rico. Over my personal logging of tens of thousands of hiking, running & cycling miles, it is movement, instruction, & leadership that have become the pillars of who I am. For me, running began as a way to exercise but evolved into a lifestyle. My primary goal as a coach is to reciprocate what running has given me & support those who are building self-esteem & confidence, making healthier life choices, & pursuing their dreams. Running is simply the medium by which I try to do so.

I meet you where you are today in order to cultivate a training schedule that is specific to you & your needs as an athlete. We'll begin with your long term development as our foundation while you pursue short term goals for fun & adventure as well as to build toward a big or scary dream goal. Most importantly, we'll keep you healthy throughout & minimize the chance of injury. Whether you're looking to complete your first 5k or your fifth 100-miler, I believe I can help you get faster & stronger while finding fulfillment & joy.
